| The Ayrshire Joint Structure Plan and Transportation Committee in conjunction with the Ayrshire Councils - East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and South Ayrshire prepare annually audits of housing land. To provide an accurate picture of the opportunities for future housing development the audit is undertaken with the close involvement of the house building industry and national agencies. This process seeks to ensure that at all times sufficient land is available to meet the housing needs of the next five years and that any constraints that may inhibit future housing investment are progressively removed. |
